The efforts of the European Union funded UNIDO-National Quality Infrastructure Project (NQIP) at building capacity of certification companies in Nigeria has reached another breakthrough:

NECA Global Certification Limited is officially accredited in the field of Quality Management Systems according to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and ISO/IEC 17021-3:2017 following the decision of the Egyptian Accreditation Council’s committee. From now on NECA Global Certification Limited is allowed to use the symbol of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) on its certificates.

UNIDO is implementing the National Quality Infrastructure Project in Nigeria aimed at supporting the improvement of standards, boost the competitiveness of Nigeria’s private sector and ensure the protection of consumers in order to advance the quality of products and services exchanged in Nigeria and in the international market.

With this achievement, we can say “certified in Nigeria and accepted globally”, which milestone will further guarantee the promotion of Nigerian products and services.
